The 20th anniversary of the first Air Max 97 was celebrated with the Nike Air Max 97 ‘Mesh,’ staying true to the name with a mesh upper tooled with tumbled leather accents. A black scale pattern on the inside of the midfoot gets touched with hits of blue. The classic foam midsole remains, aided by a Max Air unit underfoot.
