The Bryant Giles x New Balance 2002R ‘What Now?’ is an artistic version of a retro-style casual sneaker. The olive green canvas upper is adorned with stitched artwork by Giles, frayed edges and swappable quarter-panel Velcro ‘N’ logos. The shoe has a partly see-through rubber outsole that supports New Balance’s N-ergy midsole with ABZORB heel cushioning. The artist’s 2021 exhibition is referred to by the words ‘What Now?’ on the heel.
